Our mission

As an institute we believe that women should have free choice on how to proceed in case of an unwanted pregnancy. We support legislation which allows women to decide in favor of termination until the end of week 12 of their pregnancy.

Philosophy

If a woman is clear in her decision, counseling will be aimed at finding the most appropriate method and making plans to proceed. If she is still hesitant, we will lead a dialogue to help her find out what’s best in her particular situation. I consider it my duty as a doctor to support my patients in times of crisis and change. If necessary, we will also call on a qualified psychologist for assistance. Our focus will always be on the wellbeing of the woman and on our responsibility to support her with all the means available to us. Counselling on contraception is included if wanted.

Advantages

In addition to our medical services, our office offers two advantages:

• We are a small institute. That means that patients (and partners) are nearly always alone in our waiting area. More than one patient waiting at a time is a rare exception. In the age of Covid-19, that is especially important.
• Visiting women have never been harassed by anti-abortion activists.
